BitTorrent Inc’ demos plan to update its Chrome extension with a new feature that prioritizes content published by content partners. Last month I mentioned BitTorrent Inc.’s new Chrome extension BitTorrent Surf, and the company continues to experiment with exciting new content distribution models. BitTorrent Surf allows you to search for AND download content right in the Chrome browser without having to visit a BitTorrent tracker site OR having to launched a standalone BitTorrent client ? BitTorrent Surf does both. The move was part of more than a year-long process of experimentation to “create a more sustainable distribution model for the Internet?s creators and fans.
