Blogging site Tumblr took a tumble Friday morning as the site experienced persistent network problems.
"We're sorry," Tumblr's home page read. "Service is temporarily unavailable. Our engineers are working quickly to resolve the issue."
The site has been down since shortly after 8 a.m. EDT.
In a statement to The Next Web, Tumblr said the network problems occurred after "an issue with one of our uplink providers."
Problems all around
The issues are so bad that even the site's status blog is down.
When users click a link that is supposed to tell them why they've "encountered this error," the same apologetic message found on the home page appears.
TechRadar attempted to contact Tumblr, but was unable to locate contact information due to outage at the site.
