Louis Garneau Sharp helmet review

Louis Garneau Sharp helmet review

The Sharp is a potentially decent mid-price lid from Canadian cycle brand Louis Garneau, but comfort and fit depend entirely on your head shape.

It’s a rounded helmet that suits a rounded skull. If you have a narrower nut then you’ll find that, even with the skinny dial-tightening cradle done up tight, it will wobble worryingly from side to side.

Testers with a more circular cerebellum loved the rounded form though, praising it for its lack of hot spots on longer, sweatier rides.

While internal channeling is limited, there are enough external vents to keep it reasonably cool even at slower speeds.
