Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date revealed?

More details surrounding the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 2 have surfaced, pointing towards an earlier release date than first expected.
According to a GSM Arena source Samsung has moved the release date for the Galaxy Note 2 to September â" which is a month earlier than previous reports claimed.
Apparently the reason for bringing the announcement forward is so Samsung can flaunt its new device ahead of Apple's expect iPhone 5 announcement in October.
Even bigger screen!
The source also let slip on some of the specifications for the Galaxy Note 2, including a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display â" a slight boost on the already huge 5.3-inch screen on the Galaxy Note.
Although screen size will be increased, the width of the handset will actually be less, with a slimmer device on the cards.
We saw a tweet from Samsung earlier this month regarding the Galaxy Note 2, which seemed to suggest the handset was indeed real â" but it was quickly removed from the social networking site.
Other rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will rock up with a quad-processor and 12MP camera, and we hope it will come with the latest Android 4.1 JellyBean OS as well â" but we'll have to wait and see.
