EA confirms Montreal layoffs
Electronic Arts has confirmed a "very small number" of layoffs at Army Of Two developer EA Montreal, as the studio switches its focus from packaged to digital products.

Electronic Arts has confirmed a "very small number" of layoffs at Army Of Two developer EA Montreal, as the studio switches its focus from packaged goods to digital products.
GamesIndustry.biz sources indicated that the number of staff affected could be as high as 50, but EA said in a statement: "EA Montreal is reorganizing some teams to focus on digital initiatives, including new mobile and social projects.
